I was hired as the Customer Service Representative for a small plastic manufacturing plant in order to improve customer satisfaction. Very quickly I was able to accomplish this, and my employer recognized my potent. By working for a small company, I was forced to wear many hats and prove that I could excel in any area I focused on, even ones unfamiliar to me, while also exceeding expectations my employer had for me for the role I was hired for. After I had streamlined the Customer Service portion of the company, the company began utilizing me in other areas to help improve those as well. Their deadlines were consistently missed prior to my arrival, and their ability to meet them improved dramatically as the company started using my skill in all areas and began implementing strategies and ideas I concepted. I also filled in where I was needed, such as managing shifts, helping with IT support, office organization, and helping with improving the company’s infrastructure. I was also responsible for testing and helping debug the proprietary software the company used, as well as come up with additional features that helped production.
