“While I still helped out doing my entry level duties, my employer quickly recognized my potential, and my job title changed upwardly, consistently, and often … until I became Team Lead and was managing the entire shift.”

September 2015 – March 2020

My Role(s): Team Lead (Management), Assistant Team Lead (Assistant Management), Transaction Processor (Data Entry)
Additional Task(s): Office Organization, Infrastructure Improvements, IT Support

Responsibilities:

I was initially hired as an entry level operator for Data Entry, but that did not last long. At the time of my employment, there were frequent meetings during my shift about dissatisfaction — both from the employers and the employees — about production and quality. I approached the management team with an idea of how to solve the issues and offered to be the one responsible to carry it out. They accepted, and within a short time, production metrics and employee morale improved. While I still helped out doing my entry level duties, my employer quickly recognized my potential, and my job title changed upwardly, consistently, and often at that point, until I became Team Lead and was managing the entire shift.

In addition to my managerial duties, I was tasked with quality control for data entry, helping improve office organization and infrastructure, and assisting with IT support when needed.

Accomplishments:

– Promoted to a lead management role in 18 months after hire date.
– Surpassed speed and quality of production target by 50%.
– Increased overall office production by over 40% (up from previous manager).

Tools Used:

– Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
– Proprietary Software
